What servicing means
Servicing is the monthly life of a deal after funding: bills, payments, contract changes, and end-of-term events. ASPIRE handles servicing alongside origination.
The vendor claims reduced servicing costs among its results. That is a vendor claim. Your savings depend on what your servicing costs today.
Why servicing depth matters
You originate a deal once. You service it for years. A servicing task that wastes 10 minutes per contract per month multiplies across the whole book.
A 1,500-contract portfolio wasting 10 minutes each is 250 hours a month. That is more than one full-time person.
Judge payback honestly
Use the payback tool below. Enter the one-time cost, your expected monthly savings, and the new monthly cost. If savings do not beat the added cost, the tool says there is no payback. Believe it.
Demo checks
- Post a partial payment and show allocation.
- Change a payment date mid-contract with an audit trail.
- Process an early buyout quote.
- Show the delinquency queue and collector actions.
The end-of-term test
End-of-term is where servicing systems show their age. Leases end with buyouts, returns, or renewals, each with its own math and documents.
Ask to see all three paths. If the demo only shows billing, you have not seen servicing.
Ask how the system handles a lease extension mid-term. Extensions are common in equipment finance, and they touch billing, tax, and documents all at once. A clean extension path saves real labor.
Also ask how a payoff quote is produced. A borrower asking to pay off early should get an accurate figure in minutes, not a manual calculation that takes a day.

Payback check
Payback months = one-time cost divided by monthly savings minus monthly added cost. If savings do not beat the added cost, there is no payback.
Payback in about 40.0 months.
This is your scenario, not a vendor promise.
