What we could not verify
The SOFT4Leasing pages we checked on November 5, 2026 did not list support hours, response-time targets, or training prices. The published pricing covers plans and setup; support terms still need to be confirmed in writing.
The two-layer support question
With a Business Central product, support has two layers: SOFT4 for the leasing logic, and Microsoft or a partner for the platform underneath. Ask who you call for which problem, and whether your contract includes both layers or just one.
A Business Central escalation test
Run this test before you sign: a billing batch fails after a Business Central platform update. Is that a SOFT4 problem, a Microsoft problem, or your partner's? Ask the vendor to show where each layer is fixed and who you call for each.
Also ask how training works for staff hired after go-live, and whether it is train-the-trainer or per-seat. That difference decides whether you can onboard new hires yourself two years from now, without paying for another training round.
Finally, ask whether Business Central platform training is separate from SOFT4Leasing product training, and who provides each. Two layers of software can mean two training budgets.
The time-zone question
SOFT4Leasing's named case studies are international. Ask which support hours apply to your contract and your time zone, in writing, and who answers during US business hours.
Support terms to capture
- Support split between SOFT4 and the Business Central layer is written.
- Staffed support hours and time zones are written.
- Emergency response target is in the contract.
- Training scope and price are in the quote.
- Two reference customers confirmed support quality.
