What the foundation gives you
Business Central has its own marketplace of add-ons, called AppSource, and SOFT4Leasing itself is listed there. Connections to Microsoft tools and many business apps come through that ecosystem.
Connections specific to lending — credit bureaus, e-sign, payment processors — need their own answers. Ask which are pre-built, which come from AppSource, and which are custom. Public pricing does not mean every integration is included.
Who does the work
One honest advantage of the Business Central foundation: many consultants know it. You are not locked to the vendor for every small change. Ask what your own team or a local Business Central partner can safely change.
What to ask
- Credit bureaus: which pull from inside the system?
- E-sign: which signing tools connect?
- Payments: which ACH and card processors are supported?
- What can our own Business Central partner change safely?
The exception to check
Ask how the system handles a connection that fails silently. A payment file that does not arrive should raise an alert the same day, not surface at month-end. Silent failure handling tells you more than the connector list.
Also check AppSource before paying for custom work: the Business Central marketplace may already have a reviewed add-on for the connection you need, at a lower price than a custom build.

Integration readiness
- Every needed system is listed with data direction.
- Each connection is marked pre-built, AppSource, or custom.
- Custom connections have a written price and date.
- Failure alerting is demonstrated, not promised.
- Someone owns each connection after go-live.
