The naming, plainly
LeasePak is NETSOL's legacy servicing product with a long installed base. NFS Ascent was the newer flagship name. Transcend Finance is the current platform name. When a claim appears in NETSOL material, check which product it belongs to.
What the BMO announcement says — and does not
On September 15, 2026, NETSOL announced that BMO Equipment Finance signed to transition from legacy LeasePak to Transcend Finance. A signed selection is real evidence of intent and of a vendor actively moving its base.
It is not evidence the migration is complete. Large servicing migrations take many months. If you are weighing the same move, ask for the current status and for a reference call with a lender whose migration has finished, not one that has signed.
What to ask if you are on LeasePak
- Is there a fixed-price transition program, and what does it include?
- How many LeasePak migrations have completed, and can we call one?
- Which LeasePak features have no Transcend equivalent yet?
- How long will LeasePak be supported if we stay?
Plan the move like any migration
A product-family upgrade is still a migration. Data mapping, test conversions, tie-out sign-off, and a rollback plan all apply. Use the checklist below to track readiness, and treat vendor familiarity with LeasePak as a starting advantage, not a finished plan.
