What implementation means here
Implementation is the project from signed contract to live system. For an enterprise platform, expect phases: discovery, configuration, data migration, testing, and cutover. Ask NETSOL for a reference plan from a lender your size, with actual dates.
What you control
The vendor controls the software. You control data quality, decision speed, and staff availability. Assign one decision-maker with real authority before the project starts. Projects stall when every question waits for a committee.
What to ask
- How long did your last three implementations our size take?
- What is fixed price and what is time and materials?
- How many of our staff hours per week does the plan assume?
- What is the rollback plan if go-live fails?
The exception to check
Ask what happens to the timeline when scope changes mid-project — and it will. A written change-order process with prices protects both sides. A vendor without one is telling you how the project will go.
The LeasePak factor
If you are moving from LeasePak, your implementation may follow the transition program NETSOL is running for its legacy base. The September 15, 2026 BMO Equipment Finance announcement is a signed selection on that path — real evidence the path exists, not proof any given migration is complete.
Ask how many LeasePak transitions have finished, what the average calendar time was, and whether your project gets a dedicated team or shares one with other transitions. A vendor running many transitions at once can be an advantage — proven playbooks — or a risk, if the same people staff every project.
