What the servicing scope covers
Lendscape lists contract servicing, modifications, payoffs, and end-of-term workflows for equipment finance. That is the full life of a contract after booking: bill it, collect it, change it, close it.
End-of-term matters more than it looks. Leases end with a return, a renewal, or a buyout, and each path has its own billing, tax, and document steps. Ask to see all three.
Judge payback honestly
Model the investment with the payback tool below. Enter the one-time migration and setup cost, the monthly servicing labor you expect to save, and the new monthly platform cost. If the savings do not cover the added cost, the tool tells you there is no payback.
Demo checks
- Book a contract and show the billing schedule.
- Modify a contract mid-term: rate, term, or payment.
- Produce a payoff quote with per-diem interest.
- Run all three end-of-term paths on a lease.
The exception to check
Ask how the platform handles a contract with a seasonal payment schedule — common in landscaping and agriculture equipment. A servicing system that handles only clean monthly schedules will force workarounds on a real equipment book.
What the published case tells you
Lendscape's equipment finance page names Simply Asset Finance as a servicing migration case. That is one named, international case — useful as a question starter, not as proof of fit for your book. Ask the vendor to walk through how that migration handled modifications, payoffs, and end-of-term, and how the same approach would apply to your contract types.

Payback check
Payback months = one-time cost divided by monthly savings minus monthly added cost. If savings do not beat the added cost, there is no payback.
Payback in about 40.0 months.
This is your scenario, not a vendor promise.
