What a partner portal does
A partner portal gives your brokers and dealers a website where they submit deals themselves: customer, equipment, and documents. The deal arrives in your system without re-typing.
Northteq lists a partner portal as part of Aurora. For a lender whose deals arrive through brokers, this portal is the front door of the whole operation.
Why the front door matters
A good portal forces complete submissions. Required fields and documents mean fewer half-files. Status visibility cuts the 'where is my deal' calls.
Because Aurora is Salesforce-based, the submission should attach to the partner's relationship record. Ask to see that connection.
Measure the follow-up effect
Cleaner, faster intake can lift how many quotes become funded deals. Model it with the scenario tool below using your own numbers. The math is a scenario, not a promise of results.
Demo checks
- Submit a deal as a broker would. Count required fields.
- Show what status a broker sees without calling you.
- Show the submission attached to the broker's record.
- Ask what the portal costs and whether it is separate.
Adoption is the whole game
A portal only pays for itself if partners actually use it. Ask what share of deals arrive through the portal at a lender like you.
Ask what drives adoption: training, speed, or required use. Then ask two reference customers the same question. The answers should match.
Ask what a broker sees on a declined deal. A fast, clear decline with a reason keeps the relationship alive. Silence sends the next deal to your competitor.

Follow-up scenario
What if cleaner intake or faster follow-up lifted conversion a little? Enter your own numbers. This is a scenario. It does not prove the software causes the lift.
| Extra deals per month | 2.3 |
| Gross gain per month | $1,800 |
| Net after software cost | $800 |
