It starts with a machine
Most deals start the same way. A landscaping or tree-care owner needs a machine. It might be a mower, a skid steer, or a bucket truck. The owner looks online, talks to a dealer, or finds a used unit for sale.
Then the money question comes up. Few owners pay cash for a big machine. They look for financing.
The broker's job
A broker sits in the middle. The broker is not a lender. The broker does not approve or decline anything. The broker's job is to learn the deal and build a clean file.
A clean file has the facts a funder needs. Who is the buyer? How long has the business been open? What machine is it? New or used? From a dealer or a private seller? How much money is needed?
One funder, not ten
Some brokers send one file to many funders at once. We do not. We check the deal against each funder's written rules first. Those rules are called a credit box.
If a deal fits one funder's box, we ask the buyer for consent. Then we send the file to that one funder. This saves the funder time. It also protects the buyer from a flood of credit checks.
What the funder decides
The funder makes every credit decision. The funder sets the rate, the term, and the conditions. The funder can say yes, say no, or ask for more information.
Our job ends with a clean, honest file. The decision is always the funder's.
Why this matters to funders
A funder's time is limited. Files that fit the credit box are worth reading. Files that do not fit waste everyone's time.
That is the whole idea behind our process. Fewer files. Better fit. Clear facts.
